Facilities and Capabilities
VEEM operates from a 14,700 square metre purpose-built manufacturing facility in Canning Vale, Western Australia, integrating Australia’s largest non-ferrous foundry with advanced CNC machining, dynamic balancing, assembly and testing capabilities. The facility houses 12 furnaces with a casting capacity of up to 14.3 tonnes and supports the production of over 250 ferrous and non-ferrous alloys through in-house alloying and metallurgical expertise. VEEM’s machining division features 14 multi-axis CNC machines, including 8-axis systems capable of handling components up to 8.5 metres in length and 25 tonnes in weight, supported by CAD/CAM and CMM verification technology.
The company’s NATA-accredited laboratories conduct chemical, mechanical and non-destructive testing to ensure absolute quality control, while its dynamic balancing facility accommodates components ranging from 100 grams to 28 tonnes. Combining traditional craftsmanship with automation, robotics and continuous R&D investment, VEEM’s integrated operations enable the design and manufacture of high-precision products for the marine, defence, aerospace and industrial markets.
