It’s an exciting milestone at Canning Vale: VEEM Ltd has completed construction of its factory extension, with handover to the Company now imminent. The new space adds approximately 1,000m² to accommodate anticipated growth in propulsion, including VEEM Extreme products that take longer to machine given the high-tensile nature of the material. Three CNC machines are due for delivery this week, with installation and commissioning expected to be completed during Q1 FY27.

The extension is the culmination of several years of planning, and once the three machines are up and running, there’s still room for further equipment to support growth across propulsion, defence and engineering. We’ve also taken delivery of and commissioned a new 3D printer, part-funded by a $1 million grant under the Defence Industry Development Program — Sovereign Industry Priorities Stream, with the remaining $600k now received. The printer is expected to improve accuracy, speed and margins, and broaden what VEEM can offer existing and new customers.
