Last week VEEM hosted a 60-person delegation coordinated by the Department of Defence in Canberra as part of the Defence Industry Study group. Visitors included representatives from across Australia’s sovereign defence supply chain, spanning primes, Tier 1 suppliers, and key industry bodies.

The visit formed part of the Commonwealth’s continuing efforts to deepen industry engagement and increase visibility of critical domestic capabilities. Guests were taken through VEEM’s non-ferrous foundry, machining and dynamic balancing facilities including demonstrations of our centrifugal casting processes and alloy development capabilities.

As a long-standing supplier to defence and commercial shipbuilding programs in Australia and abroad, VEEM was pleased to demonstrate its advanced manufacturing capabilities and contribution to global defence and marine supply chains.

We thank the Department of Defence and all attendees for their interest and engagement as well as the VEEM Ltd team for their support on the day with the tour.
