This past week, VEEM Ltd CEO Trevor Raman represented the company at Sea-Air-Space 2025, the largest maritime exposition in the United States, hosted by the Navy League of the United States. With this year’s event focused on international collaboration and innovation in maritime defense, the program offered a timely platform for VEEM to engage with key AUKUS-aligned stakeholders.

A significant milestone achieved during the expo was VEEM’s recognition by HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding division as a successful participant in their supplier development initiative. VEEM has now been issued a Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) supplier number under the Australian Submarine Supplier Qualification (AUSS-Q) Program, affirming our position as a viable contributor to the US and UK naval industrial base.

VEEM joined more than 70 Australian defence companies under the Team Defence Australia banner within the Australian Pavilion, reinforcing our commitment to sovereign manufacturing and strengthening ties with global prime contractors across the maritime defence supply chain.

We look forward to continuing to work with HII and others supporting the future of maritime defense.
