VEEM Ltd congratulates Austal Philippines on the successful delivery of Ocean Master — a 32-metre aluminium catamaran built for Rottnest Fast Ferries. Designed by Incat Crowther and constructed in less than 12 months, the vessel will service the popular Hillarys to Rottnest Island route in Western Australia.
Powered by twin 1029kW MAN diesel engines, Ocean Master is equipped with a customised set of VEEMSTAR Interceptor™ propellers, engineered to deliver smooth, efficient performance at operating speeds of up to 25 knots. With capacity for up to 400 passengers across three decks, the ferry will complete the 45-minute journey across the Indian Ocean with reduced vibration and enhanced propulsion efficiency — a hallmark of VEEM’s marine technology.
We’re proud to support Austal’s continued success in commercial shipbuilding and pleased to see VEEM propellers featured on a vessel servicing one of Australia’s most iconic marine tourism routes.
