VEEM is proud to have cast the official finish bell for the 2026 Mader Port to Pub with Hotel Rottnest – a bell that carries special significance as the event marks its 10th anniversary. The bell will be rung by swimmers upon completing one of Western Australia’s most demanding open water swims, from Leighton Beach in Fremantle to Rottnest Island. The Mader Port to Pub with Hotel Rottnest features 19.7km and 25km ultramarathon options for solo swimmers, duos, and teams. VEEM looks forward to seeing the bell rung on event day.
VEEM also had the pleasure of producing the 6.5 tonne ANZAC bell for the Perth Bell Tower in 2018 and those same skills and same exact material specification were utilised in the production of the 12kg Port to Pub bell. This material specification has been used by the most famous bell manufacturers in England for over 500 years.
