VEEM Ltd congratulates Austal Australia on the delivery of RFNS Timo, the 22nd Guardian-class Patrol Boat, officially handed over to the Government of Fiji by the Australian Government as part of the Pacific Maritime Security Program.

The handover ceremony was held at Austal’s Henderson shipyard, marking another key milestone in Australia’s naval shipbuilding program. The Guardian-class Patrol Boats are built under the Pacific Patrol Boat Replacement Project (SEA 3036-1), a multi-phase contract awarded to Austal and extended to 24 vessels to support regional maritime security and surveillance operations.

VEEM is proud to be an ongoing supplier of precision-engineered components to the Guardian-class program, providing critical cast and machined systems manufactured in Perth. We remain committed to supporting Austal and the Department of Defence in strengthening sovereign capability and regional partnerships across the Pacific.
