VEEM has signed a new six-year, $65 million contract with ASC Pty Ltd to continue supplying specialised components for Australia’s Collins Class submarines.
The agreement extends VEEM’s 30+ year relationship with ASC and secures in-country manufacturing continuity through to 2031. VEEM remains the sole Australian supplier of ball valves for the Collins fleet under license from Flowserve Corporation Flow Control (UK) Ltd.
This contract reinforces VEEM’s ongoing contribution to Australia’s sovereign submarine capability and highlights the company’s longstanding alignment with defence supply programs such as Collins, Hunter, and the broader AUKUS framework.
Orders under the agreement are expected to increase in FY26, in particular during the second half, in line with the contract’s cyclical nature.
We acknowledge the dedicated efforts of ASC and VEEM teams in advancing this strategic national capability.
