On 26 October 2016, VEEM Ltd began trading on the Australian Securities Exchange under the code VEE. Ten years on, the company that started as a small engineering services business in Willetton in 1968 operates from a purpose-built facility in Canning Vale, supplying propulsion, stabilisation and precision-engineered components to marine, defence and industrial customers around the world.

In the decade since listing, VEEM has broken through technology barriers in propellers and gyrostabilisers, partnered with some of the world’s leading shipbuilders and defence primes, and built an Australian exporting business that competes anywhere in the world.

In a video marking the anniversary, Managing Director Mark Miocevich reflects on what being listed has meant for the business: higher standards, a more professionally managed company, and the confidence a listed company carries with global shipbuilders and defence primes. VEEM thanks its team, customers, partners and shareholders for their part in the past ten years.
